DETROIT — New York Yankees legends Derek Jeter and his wife Hannah Jeter have agreed to a multi-year deal with Jeep. Grand Wagoneer SUV.
Hall of Fame shortstop, model and TV host Hannah Jeter stars in a new advertising campaign for the luxury full-size SUV. A 60-second ad of her featuring a vehicle and a couple aired Friday night during a game in Major League Baseball’s World Series of Baseball between the Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Chief Marketing Officer Olivier Francois StellantisJeep Owns said the Jeep was chosen because of its family, growing prestige, and connections to Michigan. Derek Jeter grew up in this state, where large SUVs are produced.
Francois said at a press conference, “We needed personalities who represented American success. ‘They really are the embodiment of the American dream.'”
Sterantis was formed by the merger of Fiat Chrysler and France-based Groupe PSA. January 2021declined to comment on the partnership and advertising campaign costs.
Potentially over $110,000 fully loaded, the Grand Wagoneer is a three-row luxury SUV. This is an important product as his quintessentially American SUV brand attempts to break into the luxury market.
