Gold prices rose during early trading on Thursday, with 10 grams of 22-carat gold trading at 48,000 rupees after rising 200 rupees from yesterday’s close, according to the GoodReturns website. The price of silver fell by 700 rupees during the trade and was sold at 62,000 rupees per kg.
Ten grams of 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 52,360 after rising Rs 210 from yesterday’s close.
The prices of 10 grams of 22 carat gold in Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai were Rs 48,150, Rs 48,050 and Rs 49,700 respectively. The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold in Mumbai was Rs 48,000, the same price as gold in Kolkata and Hyderabad.
The prices of 10 grams of 24 carat gold in Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai were Rs.52,510, Rs.52,410 and Rs.54,210 respectively.
