A year after promising to create an NFT marketplace, Japanese messaging app Line has kept its promise and announced the launch of a new trading platform. This is a product of Linesits NFT division and hosted on the NFT platform it operates, DOSI.
According to the company’s official statement, this marketplace is strictly C2C and anyone can set up an account by linking their Google, Line or Facebook account with their MetaMask wallet. Currently, users can only use credit cards, Ethereum, and Naver His Pay to pay for her NFTs.
However, this is not the first time a brand has ventured into the NFT space. DOSI has had great success so far, securing users in 180 countries and to date he has issued 100,000 of his DOSI wallets and 170,000 membership NFTs. Also his NFT-focused collaborations with companies such as Naver.
More projects are planned in the near future, and LINE management says these are aimed at getting users familiar with NFTs.
“We are determined to give our users a new kind of NFT experience. It’s not just an investment or a new kind of technology. For us, DOSI is about making NFTs fun and easy to use, benefiting users, and building communities.said Youngsu Ko, CEO of LineNext.
