Grain and oilseed markets may have hit seasonal winter/spring lows this week. The Agricultural Forum reminded everyone that ending stocks will increase year-on-year in many agricultural markets. Crop production losses in South America are roughly priced in at around 30 MMT for Arg soybeans and 40 MMT for corn. Corn, wheat, soybeans and rapeseed are seasonally bullish in March, April, May and June. The longer-term view is bearish as commodities tend to return to averages, but some upside is likely during the planting and growing season. Listen to Turner’s take podcast this week.
